I'm Abdullah Masood Hakim — a Software Engineer at AstreaX and BlueCiate, working across backend engineering, AI engineering, and full-stack app development. I design APIs and services, build AI agents that run in production, and ship the apps people actually use.

Before that I spent two years at Gen Digital building TypeScript + NestJS microservices on AWS, LLM-powered agents with OpenAI APIs and MCP, large-scale Playwright automation, and Datadog observability. I also led development of ImmiCan's ImmiScore platform — Django + PostgreSQL APIs, React/Next.js dashboards, and real-time messaging with socket.io.

Outside of engineering, I'm big on movement and exploration — gym, competitive field hockey, snooker, and road trips. I like learning fast, shipping iteratively, and building things that feel practical and durable.

“Build durable systems, learn fast, and ship what matters.”
